  • 3 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup White Sugar
  • 1 cup Butter or Margarine
  • 1/2 tbsp Salt
  • 1and 1/2 cups Light Corn Syrup
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 and 1/2 cups White Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Butter Or Margarine Melted
  • 1 and 1/2 tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 and 1/2 cups Chopped Pecans

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
    Set your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 10×15-inch jellyroll pan.
  • Prepare the Crust:
    In a large bowl, combine the flour, 1/2 cup sugar, and salt. Cut in 1 cup of butter until the mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Sprinkle this evenly over the prepared pan and press firmly to create a crust.
  • Bake the Crust:
    Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Prepare the Filling:
