- 2 cup All-purpose flour - 1 cup Granulated sugar - 2 Eggs - 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened - 2 tbps Baking powder - 1 tbps Vanilla extract - 1/2 cup Milk
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking dish or pan. 2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. 3. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with the milk, until well combined. 5.Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

Sprinkle the topping evenly over the cake batter in the baking dish. 8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
9. Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for about 10 to 15 minutes. 10. Once cooled slightly, slice the cake into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.
