– Medium Saucepan – Stirring Spoon – Clean jar with a tight-fitting lid
– 1 cup white sugar – 1 cup water
– Combine 1 cup of white sugar and 1 cup of water in a medium saucepan. – Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally.
– Continue stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved in the water. – Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the simple syrup to cool down to room temperature.
– Once cooled, pour the syrup into a clean jar. – Seal the jar with a tight-fitting lid. – Store the simple syrup in the refrigerator for up to one month.
