Hello Guys! Austin Carte this side from Beyond the Bayou Blog to bring you all a recipe that has become my family’s favorite these days. Yes, the recipe we are trying today is a people’s pleasure and will soon become your favorite too: Fruit Pizza.

Recently, when my niece visited us she showed quite stubbornness about having her favorite Neapolitan Pizza but I being me wanted her to have a different and healthy version of pizza. At first, she resisted the idea of having a fruit pizza but somehow I managed to make her taste the very first pie of this delicious pizza.

Guess what? She finished an entire pan-size fruit pizza. Now when she is at her own home, she often asks her mother to have the same pizza again. The recipe and steps for this dish are quite simple. All you need to consider is moderation when it comes to sugar so that it does not lose its purpose.

So, if you guys are ready to elevate your dessert game with this different recipe, join me for the next few minutes and get yourself treated with this healthy, juicy pizza.

Choosing the Right Fruits!

  1. Avoid Watery Fruits: Steer clear of fruits with high water content, such as watermelon, as they can make the pizza soggy. Opt for fruits that are less juicy to maintain the pizza’s texture.
  2. Choose Ripe and Firm Fruits: Select ripe fruits that hold their shape well when sliced. This ensures a visually appealing and manageable topping for the fruit pizza.
  3. Drain Canned Fruits: If using canned fruits like pineapple or mandarin oranges, drain them thoroughly and pat dry with paper towels. This helps remove excess moisture and prevents the pizza from becoming overly wet.
  4. Cut into Bite-Size Pieces: For ease of serving and eating, cut the fruit into small, bite-size pieces. This makes it convenient for guests to enjoy the pizza without struggling with large fruit slices.

These Tips Are a Savior!

These Tips Are a Savior for fruit pizza

  1. Room Temperature Ingredients: Make sure the butter, cream cheese, and egg are at room temperature before using. This helps achieve a smooth and creamy texture in the dough and cream cheese frosting.
  2. Patience with Dough: When pressing the dough into the pizza pan, take your time to ensure an even thickness throughout. This helps the crust bake evenly and avoids any undercooked or overcooked areas.
  3. Chill the Crust: After baking the crust, allow it to cool completely before spreading the cream cheese mixture. This prevents the cream cheese from melting and keeps the layers distinct.
  4. Customize Fruit Toppings: Feel free to experiment with different fruits or combinations based on your preference and seasonal availability. The key is to have a colorful and flavorful assortment that complements the creamy base.
  5. Garnish Before Serving: For added freshness and visual appeal, consider garnishing the fruit pizza with a sprinkle of fresh mint leaves or a light dusting of powdered sugar just before serving.

Adorn Your Fruit Pizza This Way!

  1. Center Fruit: Start by placing one piece of fruit at the center of the fruit pizza to create a focal point.
  2. Alternate Colors: When arranging the fruit, alternate colors for visual appeal. Avoid placing fruits of the same color next to each other.
  3. Slice Thin: Thinly slice the fruit for easier decorating and eating. This also enhances the overall presentation of the fruit pizza.
  4. Alternate Placement: Vary how you lay the fruit on the pizza. For example, place some fruits like kiwi slices directly on the pizza, while layering others like strawberries for a textured and appealing look.
