– Mixing Bowls – Tongs – Plates – Corkscrew – Aluminum foil
– 1 Lb Ground Beef – 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning – 4 Hamburger Buns – Marinara Sauce – 4 Slices Mozzarella Cheese – Pepperoni – Parmesan Cheese – Butter – Pizza Seasoning
1. Start by getting your grill, pan, or whatever you're using nice and hot for the burgers. 2. In a bowl, mix together ground beef, Italian sausage, and pizza seasoning (oregano, basil, marjoram, garlic)
3. Divide the mixture into 8oz (1/2 lb) portions, or smaller 6oz portions if you prefer. Flatten the portions into patties, making them about 1/2 inch larger than your buns. 4. Press a thumbprint in the middle of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking. Grill the burgers for about 4 minutes on the first side.
5 While the burgers are cooking, warm up the marinara sauce in a pan on medium-low heat. Also, heat the pepperoni in a pan or on tinfoil on the grill for a couple of minutes. 6 Flip the burgers and cook until they reach the right temperature (140°F for medium), usually 2 to 4 minutes. About a minute before taking them off the grill, top each burger with sliced cheese.
7. Place the buns face down on the grill for a minute or two to give them a toasty finish. 8. Put the burgers on the buns, spoon on the warm marinara sauce, add the pepperoni, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Your burgers are ready!
