Hey there, folks! Austin Carter here from Beyond the Bayou Blog. Today, I will share a fun and easy recipe that’s been a hit in my kitchen lately: Ice Cream Bread. Yep, you heard that right – bread made with ice cream!

I stumbled upon this idea last summer when I was craving something sweet but didn’t want to turn on the oven in the sweltering Louisiana heat. Remembering an old family trick, I decided to experiment with ice cream as a base. The result? A surprisingly delicious and moist bread that’s a lovable dish now.

This recipe is so simple, that even my cousin Billy, who once burned water (true story!), managed to make it perfectly. With just two main ingredients, it’s a great way to use up that last bit of ice cream in the carton. So, let’s dive in and make some Ice Cream Bread together! Hey, not really feeling the Ice Cream Bread recipe. The texture was a bit too moist for my liking. Maybe adjusting the baking time could help. Thanks anyway!
