- Saucepan - Whisk - Mixing Bowl - Measuring Cups - Strainer - Molds or Ramekins
- S- 1 cup Milk - 4 Egg yolks - 1/2 cup sugar - 2 tbps Gelatin - 1 tbps vanilla extractcf
1. Prepare gelatin: Dissolve in cold water, let soften for 5 minutes. 2. Heat milk: Warm but not boiling in a saucepan, then set aside. 3. Whisk egg yolks and sugar until thickened. 4. Combine milk and egg mixture slowly, whisking constantly.
5. Cook mixture in saucepan over medium heat until slightly thickened 6. Add softened gelatin, stir until dissolved. 7. Stir in vanilla extract or other flavorings. 8. Strain mixture to remove lumps.
9. Chill in molds or ramekins for at least 4 hours until set. 10. Serve by unmolding onto plates, garnish with fruit, whipped cream, or chocolate shavings if desired.
