– 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts shredded or thinly sliced – 1 cup buffalo sauce – ½ cup melted butter – 1 teaspoon garlic powder – 1 teaspoon onion powder – Salt and pepper to taste – 12 slider buns – Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, blue cheese or ranch dressing
1. Marinate the shredded or thinly sliced chicken in a mixture of buffalo sauce, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. 2. Allow it to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to 24 hours. The longer the marinating time, the more intense the flavor. 3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
4. Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet or in a baking dish, ensuring an even spread. 5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and slightly crispy on the edges. 6. While the chicken is baking, slice the slider buns and prepare any desired toppings.
7. Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven. Toss the chicken in a bit more buffalo sauce if desired. 8. Assemble the sliders by placing a generous portion of buffalo chicken on each bun. Add optional toppings. 9. Serve immediately and enjoy these flavorful Baked Buffalo Chicken Sliders!
