– Mixing Bowl – Wooden Spoon – Measuring Cups – Baking sheet – Parchment Paper – Oven
– 1 cup salted butter softened – 1 cup granulated sugar – 1 cup light brown sugar packed – 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract – 2 large eggs – 3 cups all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon baking soda
– Preheat oven to 375°F, line baking sheets with parchment paper. – Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. – Cream together butter and sugars until smooth. – Beat in eggs and vanilla until fluffy (about 1 minute). – Mix in dry ingredients until fully combined.
– Stir in chocolate chips. – Roll dough into 2-3 tablespoon-sized balls, place on baking sheets. – Bake at 375°F for 8-10 minutes until edges are lightly golden. – Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
