– Skillet – Tongs – Cutting Board and Knife – Citrus Juicer – Measuring Spoons – Stirring Utensil – Saucepan optional – Serving Platter
– 4 Cream Dory fillets – Salt and black pepper to taste – 2 tablespoons olive oil – 2 cloves garlic minced – 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved – 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth – Juice of 1 lemon – 1/2 cup heavy cream – Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
Season the Cream Dory: 1. Pat the Cream Dory fillets dry with paper towels. 2. Season both sides with salt and black pepper. Pan-Sear the Fish: 1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Place the Cream Dory fillets in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Prepare the Lemon Cream Sauce: 1. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. 2. Add cherry tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
3. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth, lemon juice, and heavy cream. Stir to combine. Simmer and Serve: 1. Allow the sauce to simmer for 3-5 minutes until it slightly thickens. 2. Place the pan-seared Cream Dory fillets back into the skillet, spooning the sauce over them.
3. Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve: 1. Plate the Cream Dory fillets with the lemon cream sauce. 2. Serve with your choice of side dishes, such as rice, quinoa, or sautéed vegetables.
