– Large Skillet – Spoon or Spatula – Grater (for ginger) – Knife and Cutting Board
– 1 pound bulk pork sausage – 1 16 ounce package coleslaw mix – ¼ cup soy sauce – ¼ cup toasted sesame oil – 1 tablespoon grated ginger – 1 clove garlic minced – 1 tablespoon lemon zest – 1 teaspoon chopped fresh cilantro
1. Gather all ingredients. 2. Cook and stir sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly, about 10 minutes. Drain excess grease.
3. Add coleslaw mix, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic to the skillet. 4. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the coleslaw softens, about 8 minutes. 5. Stir in lemon zest and cilantro.
6. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the flavors combine. 7. Serve hot and enjoy!
