Gold Rush Cocktail Recipe

– Small Saucepan – Cocktail shaker – Rocks glass – Ice

Equipment

– 1/4 cup honey – 1/4 cup water – 2 ounces bourbon – 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice – 1/2 ounce honey syrup – Lemon peel or slice for garnish, optional

Ingredients

– Combine honey and water in a small saucepan and simmer for 2 minutes until fully combined. Let it cool for 5 minutes. – Store leftover honey syrup in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.

– Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. – Add bourbon, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and 1/2 ounce of honey syrup to the shaker. – Shake vigorously for 15 seconds until very cold.
