– Mixing Bowl – Fork – Large Skillet – Spatula – Measuring Spoons
– 2 lbs ground beef – 2 eggs – ½ teaspoon dry mustard – 1 teaspoon salt – ½ teaspoon garlic powder – ½ teaspoon black pepper – 1 small onion finely chopped – 1 tablespoon olive oil – 8 oz mushrooms sliced – 2 cups beef broth
1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, eggs, dry mustard, salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and finely chopped onion until well combined. 2. Divide the meat mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty. 3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil.
4. Cook the patties in the skillet, in batches if necessary, browning well on one side for about 5 minutes before flipping and cooking through. 5. Remove the cooked patties and place them on paper towels to keep warm. 6. Spoon out all but 2 tablespoons of grease from the skillet.
