– Cocktail shaker – Jigger – Citrus Juicer – Mixing Spoon
– Lime wedges – 2 ounces fresh orange juice – 1 ½ ounces mild mezcal I recommend Del Maguey Vida – 1 ounce fresh lime juice – Tajín Clásico Seasoning
1. Prepare your glasses: Sprinkle Tajín (or mix salt/chili powder) on a small plate. Rim each glass with a lime wedge, then dip in the salt blend. 2. Add ice cubes to the glasses and set aside.
3. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. 4. Pour in mezcal, orange juice, lime juice, and optional orange bitters and sweetener (to taste).
5. Securely close the shaker and shake well. 6. Strain the mixture into prepared glasses and garnish with a lime wedge. Enjoy your mezcalita!
