– 2 cups white sugar – ½ cup margarine – ½ cup milk – 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder – 1 pinch salt – 3 cups quick cooking oats – ½ cup peanut butter – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– Combine sugar, margarine, milk, cocoa powder, and salt in a saucepan. – Bring the mixture to a rapid boil and let it boil for 1 minute.
– Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in quick-cooking oats, peanut butter, and vanilla extract until well mixed.
– Working quickly, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto waxed paper. – Let the cookies cool and set before enjoying!
