– ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt – ¾ cup sugar – 1½ cups heavy cream – 1 cup milk – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – ½ cup sliced almonds
1. Whisk together sugar, cocoa, and salt in a medium saucepan. Add cream and milk, then bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently. Simmer for 2 minutes on low heat. 2.Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Stir until chocolate melts. Cool and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
3.Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream machine and freeze as per the manufacturer’s instructions. 4. Transfer the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container.
5. Stir in marshmallows and sliced almonds. Cover and freeze until ready to serve. 6. Enjoy your homemade Rocky Road Ice Cream!
