- Skillet - Cutting Board and Knife - Large Bowl or Plate - Spatula or Wooden Spoon - Measuring Spoons
- 1 Tbsp olive oil - 1.25 lbs lean ground beef - 1 cup bottled fire roasted salsa - 2 tsp chili powder - 1 tsp ground cumin - Salt and freshly ground black pepper - 3 Tbsp fresh cilantro
1. Brown ground beef in a skillet with taco seasoning. 2. Chop lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and any other desired veggies on a cutting board. 3. Once beef is cooked, let it cool slightly.
4. In a large bowl or on a plate, assemble the salad by placing lettuce as the base. 5. Add cooked beef on top of the lettuce.Layer chopped veggies over the beef. 6. Sprinkle shredded cheese, sliced avocado, and a dollop of sour cream if desired.
