-Cocktail Shaker -Citrus Juicer -Fine Mesh Strainer -Glassware -Stirring Utensil
-3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed -1/2 ounce simple syrup -1/2 ounce egg white (optional) -Garnish: Angostura bitters -2 ounces bourbon
1. Get your bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (if you want to use it). Pour all the ingredients into a shaker. 2. Shake everything in the shaker without ice for 30 seconds. Give it a good shake! Now, put some ice into the shaker.
3. Shake with the ice for another 15–20 seconds until it's nicely chilled. Decide if you want to use a rock glass with ice or a coupe without ice. 4. Pour the mix from the shaker into your chosen glass. Add 3–4 drops of Angostura bitters to give it that extra flavor kick.
