Ingredients

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 3 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 tube crescent rolls*
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon or a tablespoon of fruit preserves

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and optional cinnamon or fruit preserves until smooth.
  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  • Add a heaping tablespoon of filling to the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll the dough over the filling once, pressing to seal, then continue rolling to the pointed end.
  • Place crescents on the cookie sheet and bake for 11-13 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Let them cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
