Cut the chili in half, deseed, and slice one half (use less for milder heat).
Slice or smash the garlic cloves.
Place the olives in a large serving bowl.
Add the sliced chili and garlic to the olives.
Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl.
Toss everything together until well combined.
Taste and add fine salt if needed, depending on the olives.
Transfer to a glass jar or container and let rest for 30 minutes before serving. Serve at room temperature.
