Equipment

  • melon baller or small teaspoon
  • cocktail picks or skewers

Ingredients

  • 3 cups 24 ounces tomato juice
  • 3 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 3 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • ¾ teaspoon celery salt
  • ¼ cup 2 ounces dill pickle juice from a jar of pickles
  • vodka
  • 6 pitted pimento-stuffed olives or black olives
  • celery for garnish
  • 12 fresh mozzarella pearls balls from an 8 ounce container
  • ice

Instructions

  • In a large pitcher, combine tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, pickle juice, horseradish, and celery salt. Whisk until smooth.
  • Prepare glasses with ice and add 3 parts Bloody Mary mix to 1 part vodka (e.g., 6 ounces mix with 2 ounces vodka), adjusting to taste.
  • To make the “eyeball” garnish, thinly slice olives with pimentos intact.
  • Use a melon baller or small spoon to carve a small hole in each mozzarella pearl.
  • Press an olive slice into each mozzarella hole, adjusting if needed.
  • Skewer 2-3 mozzarella “eyeballs” onto a cocktail pick and place in each drink along with a celery stick.
