Ingredients

extra lean ground beef

medium onion chopped

heaping tablespoons tomato paste

teaspoon
garlic powder

teaspoon
chili powder

uncooked elbow macaroni
▢

beef broth
▢

freshly grated cheddar cheese

Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook ground beef and onions in a soup pot over medium-high heat until browned (7-10 minutes). Drain excess fat.
Stir in tomato paste, garlic powder, and chili powder.
Add beef broth and bring to a boil. Add macaroni.
Reduce heat to a rapid simmer. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and most liquid is absorbed (13-15 minutes).
Grate cheese while pasta cooks.
Remove pot from heat and stir in grated cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
Let sit for a couple of minutes before serving to enhance flavors.
Serve immediately and enjoy.
