Ingredients

  • 2 cups Apple Juice
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 1 teaspoon Whole Cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
  • Zest of 1 Orange
  • 1 cup Sparkling Water
  • 1 Star Anise
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice

Instructions

  • Heat apple juice, maple syrup, cinnamon stick, star anise, whole cloves, and orange zest in a saucepan over medium heat until it boils.
  • Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer and let it cool.
  • Fill a glass with ice and add 1 cup of the spiced apple juice mixture.
  • Add 1 cup of sparkling water and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Serve immediately.
