Ingredients

Jello Brain

  • 2 teaspoons oil for oiling the mold
  • 3 boxes 6-ounces each peach or watermelon flavored gelatin
  • 2 & ½ cups boiling water
  • 12 ounce can lite evaporated skimmed milk 99.5% fat free or 100% fat free
  • 1 cup cold water

Blood

  • 1/4 cup seedless raspberry jam
  • 1 teaspoon water you may need more or less depending on how thick your jam is

Instructions

  • Lightly spray or rub a small amount of oil inside the brain mold, then wipe away any excess.

  • Place the oiled mold on a stand or stable surface and set it aside.

  • In a large bowl, dissolve the flavored gelatin in 2 ½ cups of boiling water, stirring for about 3 minutes.

  • Add 1 cup of cold water to the gelatin mixture and stir.
  • Stir in evaporated skim milk for about 2 minutes until well combined.
  • Pour the gelatin mixture into the mold, leaving about 1 inch of space at the top.

  • Refrigerate the mold overnight to set.
  • To remove the brain, gently shake the mold to loosen the gelatin, then flip it over onto your hand or a plate.

  • For a “bloody” effect, mix ¼ cup seedless raspberry jam with a teaspoon of water and microwave briefly. Stir, then drizzle over the brain. Enjoy the spooky effect!
